Banana Flapjacks recipe
Try these yummy flapjacks for breakfast with some yoghurt.
Ingredients:
450g rolled oats
200g butter
160g brown sugar
3.5 tbsp. golden syrup
1 banana
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180C/gas mark 4.
2. Line and grease a shallow baking tin.
3. Melt the butter and sugar in a saucepan over a low heat.
4. Mash the banana and add to the butter and sugar and cook for 2-3minutes. Remove from the heat.
5. Stir in the oats and mix well.
6. Press down into the baking tin and smooth down well.
7. Cook for 25 minutes.
8. Once cooled, remove and cut into squares
These flapjacks are really delicious with some nuts sprinkled over the top, too. Try a little grated nutmeg into the mixture for a little more flavour.
